AT&T CoverageAT&T Wireless has been one of the largest cellular service providers for years. Offering exclusive phones and coverage over an extensive area, they have been a well known name and widely used. The original release of Apple’s iPhone was exclusively through AT&T until Apple recently started selling the iPhone through other service providers as well.

AT&T Wireless Plans

AT&T offers a variety of individual plans as well as a variety of family plans to meet every customer’s needs. They also offer different levels of text messaging allowances and data allowances for both the individual and family plans to make sure they cater to the customers who prefer to text message or surf the web with their phones.

The individual plans AT&T offers range from $39.99 per month to $219.99 per month. Their plans do not all include unlimited nights and weekends, only two of their plans offer this option. The plans do include unlimited mobile to mobile calling and one thousand night and weekend minutes to use. The amount of talk time to purchase ranges from four hundred fifty minutes to six thousand minutes. Under their nationwide options they offer unlimited anytime calling for $69.99 per month. The plans do not include any allowances for text messaging, but there are packages that you can add to your plan giving you an allowance or unlimited use for your text messaging needs. The text messaging packages range in price from ten to thirty dollars per month. For data and internet usage you would be required to purchase another package. There are various data packages offering from 200 MB to unlimited, but it is important to note that if you are a smart phone user there is no option for unlimited data usage. The largest data package for a smart phone user is 4 GB. The data packages range from ten to forty-five dollars per month.

The coverage area for AT&T is extremely comprehensive. Their coverage area covers the majority of the United States with the exception of Alaska, where there are coverage areas present in only a few areas.

AT&T offers everything from the iPhone to the Android phones and the Windows phones. They carry phones from Apple, Samsung, HTC, BlackBerry, Motorola, LG, Nokia and many more. They definitely carry a phone for each person’s needs.

AT&T Customer Service

The Customer Service Department for AT&T is available by phone, or by email. They are available Monday through Friday from seven in the morning until ten at night and from nine in the morning until seven in the evening on Saturday and Sunday for phone calls. The emails can take two to three business days to get a response.

AT&T Store Locator

To locate an AT&T store near you, you can use the store locator on their website. Their store locator allows you to find a store based on your zip code. Once you input your zip code, you are asked what kind of services you are looking for to make sure that the results that appear will be stores that have the ability to handle your questions and concerns.

AT&T Reviews

With business growth and change sometimes comes animosity. AT&T has their fair share of negative reviews covering everything from their customer service department and the staff in their stores to billing issues and service issues. While some of these reviews may be the product of a customer who did not understand what they had been told, that cannot be the reason for all of the negative reviews. On the other hand, if you are the type of person who knows what you want when you walk into the store and rarely seek help from your service providers for your internet provider or cable provider this may never be an issue for you and should not prevent anyone from considering AT&T for their next cell phone service.
